Family Services contracts approved; request for $10,000 not moved, one commissioner votes nay on TCM contract

Family Services Director Laura Laub presented several 2026 and 2026–2027 agreements Dec. 16 that the Board approved, including the Cooperative Agreement for 2026–2027, a Payment Agreement with the Ortonville School for Greater Minnesota School Based Services, an amended Greater Minnesota Family Service Collaborative contract that added a previously omitted $25,000, and multiple service contracts such as the 2026 Greater Minnesota In-Home Services Contract, the PrimeWest Health Behavioral Health Participation Agreement, the Countryside Public Health Purchase of Service Agreement, a Day Training and Habilitation third-party agreement, the 2026–2027 Count Access Plan and a County Childcare Provider Grant for 2026.
Laub also requested an additional payment of $10,000 in 2026 to address a 2025 billing error; the minutes record that "no motion was received for the additional funds, so no action was taken." The Greater Minnesota TCM contract was approved in a vote where Commissioners Zimmel, Thyne, Radermacher and Athey voted aye and Commissioner Klages voted nay.
