Developer seeks two R4A lots on Brumbelow Road, asks to waive open-space requirement

Mohammed Astradi, the project manager representing the builder and owner, said each home will be about 3,200 square feet and described hammerhead-shaped driveways and a driveway layout between the two houses. "This is gonna be 2 houses, l shaped... it's gonna fit the neighborhood," Astradi said, adding that the builder, John Jamont, constructed nearby homes and owns many lots behind the site.
Astradi asked the city to grant the variance to eliminate the 10% open-space requirement, saying the proposed homes will be consistent with the neighborhood and the lot’s configuration. He invited immediate questions from staff and attendees; staff proceeded to the next agenda item after the presentation.
