Panel Lightning Round: Utah Should Offer Stable Rules, Site Readiness and Public Events to Attract Reactors

Tim Davis asked each panelist what the state of Utah could do to help accelerate advanced nuclear beyond having a gubernatorial champion. Jeremy Harrell answered: "Stable regulatory environment. Predictability, attracts capital." Ben Reinke agreed with Harrell and urged similar predictability.
Cyrus Western urged continued collaboration and specific requests from the state about how federal partners can get out of the way. Lee Robinson recommended continuing events like the panel and beginning on-site preparation so communities and sites are ready when projects materialize.
