The Marshall County Board of Supervisors on March 11 approved an interagency transfer of $2,552.64 in opioid settlement funds to the Mid Iowa Drug Task Force and adopted Resolution 2026-0012 to effectuate the transfer.
County Attorney Jordan Gaffney told the Board the allocation will cover a three-day conference for six people and related educational materials; the conference agenda includes sessions on opioid case mediation. The Board's motion to approve the transfer and the associated Memorandum of Understanding carried 3–0.
Resolution 2026-0012 takes effect after Board signature as required by law; staff will complete the transfer per the terms of the interagency memorandum.
