At the July 2, 2026 session the Ray County Commission approved payables presented by County Treasurer Melissa Holloway. The recorded items include a monthly allocation to the Ray County Historical Society; payments to law firm Ellis, Ellis, Hammons & Johnson PC funded from the ARPA fund and separately from the National Opioid Settlement Fund; and a payment to Jaymar Business Forms Inc. charged to the Capital Improvement Fund. The minutes do not list dollar amounts for these line items.
Commissioner Hockemeier moved to approve the payables; Commissioner Davis seconded and the minutes record the motion as carried. The record shows commissioners toured the Humane Society building after the session. The minutes do not show public comment on the payables during the July 2 meeting.
