Marshall County approves website redesign contract to meet ADA deadline and add online services

Marshall County supervisors voted 3–0 on March 11 to approve a Website Development Proposal with Neapolitan Labs and authorized Chair Jarret Heil to sign the agreement.
Auditor/Recorder Nan Benson said Phase One and Phase Two of the project are expected to be completed within six months and will make the county compliant with ADA requirements by 2027. Marshall County CIO James Nehring provided an update on the project timeline, and Chair Heil described the contract as a positive step for the county. The Board separately approved including the Marshall County Conservation website as Phase Two; the Conservation site will add features such as online payments and online booking, Marshall County Conservation representative Jeremiah Manken said.
Benson also said switching to Neapolitan Labs is expected to result in some cost savings for the county. The Board's motion passed unanimously, and staff were authorized to proceed with contract execution and project onboarding.
