Planning commission recommends village-board review of Trinity Evangelical CSM with 10 conditions

Planning staff presented a certified survey map (CSM) for Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church that combines three parcels at the intersection of 7 Mile Road and Nicholson Road to correct a boundary that currently runs through one of the church buildings and to incorporate land recently gifted to the church and school. "Basically, the CSM is a cleanup of the existing properties, eliminating that property line running through the building, combining the gifted property to the existing church and school property," the staff member said, and noted staff had reviewed land use, zoning, utilities, stormwater management and environmental concerns and produced 10 review conditions.

After brief discussion, a commissioner moved that the planning commission recommend the CSM to the village board "subject to the 10 conditions listed in Exhibit A of this staff report." The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The commission’s action is a recommendation to the village board; the village board will make the final decision on adoption and any required easement dedications or right-of-way adjustments. The staff member noted required follow-ups for stormwater management, grading plans and other engineering approvals before permits could be issued.
