Council approves City Hall painting and flooring contracts

Council asked about carpet quality and staff responded vendors would match the existing material and recommend wear-resistant products where needed.
Both contracts were approved by roll-call vote. Staff told council the projects are in building-and-grounds budgets, that they are part of previously budgeted work, and that procurement complied with local purchasing procedures. Work timelines were not fully detailed in the meeting discussion; staff indicated follow-up on scheduling would proceed with the awarded vendors.
