Council members asked for the ordinance language to be precise on what services could be terminated for nonpayment; one member noted the draft referenced “termination of service” and asked that it specifically read “termination of water service” where appropriate. Staff agreed to review the language for consistency and return recommended revisions before the next regular meeting.
