Assessors certified and new environmental technician introduced
Summary
The board was informed that Andrew Maas and Logan Nadgwick are CMA‑IQ qualified for commercial property assessment, Danny Tuckett qualified as a Senior Accredited Minnesota Assessor, and Environmental Director Darren Wilke introduced new technician Arnold Jibben.
Coordinator Pam Rud informed the board that Assessors Andrew Maas and Logan Nadgwick are now CMA‑IQ qualified and therefore eligible to assess commercial property. Rud also reported that Assessor Danny Tuckett completed required courses and exams to be qualified as a Senior Accredited Minnesota Assessor.
Environmental Director Darren Wilke introduced new Environmental Technician Arnold Jibben to the board. These personnel updates were presented as informational items and no board action was required beyond acknowledgement.
During the work session the board also discussed whether to obtain a formal appraisal or a Broker Price Opinion for the lot adjacent to the Highway Building; staff recommended a formal appraisal to document fair market value.
