Commission awards detention-center medical contract to Southern Health Partners

Frymire said staff expects "an estimated cost savings of about $100,000 per year" and noted the vendor will provide additional mental-health services.
Commissioners agreed to award the contract to Southern Health Partners pending final staff and counsel review; Commissioner Becky Reimer moved to award the contract and Commissioner Terry Scott seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The motion directs staff to complete contract review and return final execution paperwork to the county administration once legal review is complete.
