Trevor presented the transportation mileage report, telling the board that bus miles for the year were down about 4,000 and that overall bus miles approached 230,000. "We're about 4,000 miles less on buses this year. 200 just under 230,000 miles on our buses," he said.
He attributed the fluctuation to the changing locations of state tournaments, the addition of boys' volleyball this year and more remote meetings reducing staff travel. Trevor confirmed the district owns all vehicles and that older buses slated for disposal will be sold through the state surplus system, where any bidder statewide can submit offers and the proceeds return to the district.
