Willard honors dispatchers, firefighters and residents for Willard Bay rescues

The council specifically recognized dispatchers Nicole King and Kaylene Myer as well as Jenny Poon and Tanya Anderson; Jose and Diego Mondragon were recognized as good samaritans who helped during rescues. Chief Theron Fielding and dispatcher Nikki King also highlighted Officer Harper’s proactive decision‑making and role in coordinating responses under difficult conditions.
Mayor Mote and council members thanked the individuals and noted the importance of interagency coordination in fast‑moving emergencies. No formal action was required; the recognition was entered into the meeting record.
