The South Weber City Council opened a public hearing on the FY2027 tentative budget that includes a proposed property-tax increase; no members of the public spoke during the item. The council closed that hearing after a brief period with no comments.
The council then suspended to hold the Redevelopment Agency and the Local Building Authority meetings. Both the RDA and the LBA opened public hearings on their FY2027 tentative budgets; neither board received public comment during those hearings. The LBA later advanced a separate resolution authorizing lease-revenue bonds (see separate article).
