After discussion the council voted to approve the conditional zoning and voluntary annexation for the parcel and explicitly struck "data center" from the commitments for this new 4.47‑acre parcel. Staff confirmed removing the use for this parcel is a more stringent restriction and therefore does not require returning the matter to the APC for re-approval.
The council proceeded to the related annexation ordinance readings and fiscal-plan resolution later in the meeting.
