The Springdale Municipal Building Authority unanimously adopted SMBA Resolution 2025-01 during a special meeting on Nov. 12, 2025, at the Canyon Community Center. Town Manager Rick Wixom introduced the item as an amendment to the authority’s bylaws to change the title of board members to comply with yearly reporting requirements.
Pat Campbell moved to adopt Resolution 2025-01 authorizing the bylaw amendment and directing the Mayor to sign; Randy Aton seconded. The five board members present — Mayor Barbara Bruno and Board Members Randy Aton, Jack Burns, Pat Campbell and Kyla Topham — voted aye and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes state the Mayor is directed to sign the adopted resolution.
The amendment was described in the staff report as technical and focused on title language used in annual reports; no additional questions were raised during the special meeting. The board took the action by roll-call vote during the meeting that began at 8:00 p.m. and concluded at 8:04 p.m.
