Prairie Lights is celebrating its 20th anniversary at Lynn Creek Park on Joe Pool Lake, the Presenter announced, adding a new two-mile drive-thru that organizers said will feature "more than 5,000,000 lights" in a range of shapes and themes.
The Presenter and Co-presenter described several new and upgraded attractions, including longer tunnels, brighter lighting, interactive displays, a Holiday Village indoor/outdoor midway, and a Forest of Lights walk-through. The Presenter said there will also be carnival rides, food vendors and specialty gift vendors on site.
Visitors can also book private photos with Santa in a tented area through December 23. Prairie Lights opens nightly at 6 p.m. through New Year's Eve on December 31, and the Presenter recommended purchasing tickets in advance and considering the FastPass option for busier nights.
