The City of Grand Prairie said it has launched a new water utility customer portal and provided step-by-step enrollment instructions. "The City of Grand Prairie is excited to launch its new water utility customer portal," the staff member said, and then described steps: go to paywaterbill.gptx.org, enter a new account number or use the "find my account number" link, enter the statement balance from the prior two months, then follow prompts to register.
The portal includes a guided tour icon, options for preauthorized payments and paperless billing, one-time payments without logging in, and views of payment and statement history. The announcement also advised residents to check their email for an invitation from noreply_waterbilling@gptx.org and to visit gptx.org for more information.
