Board seeks bids for harmonic filter after Well 5 generator issues; approves minutes and warrants

Staff reported that when power is lost, Well 5's variable-frequency drive can present harmonics that cause the generator and motor to operate out of phase and risk overheating. "In order to solve that problem, we need to install an harmonic filter," the manager said, and staff noted a walk-through is scheduled for Oct. 29 with two bidders preparing plans.
Later in the meeting the board approved minutes from the Sept. 16 meeting and voted to approve financials and warrants dated Oct. 21, 2025, totaling $91,633.85. A board member moved and a second carried the approvals by voice vote; the transcript records the motion and voice "Aye" responses but does not record a roll-call of individual member votes.
