The Hutto Economic Development Corporation approved Resolution R‑HEDC‑2026‑034 to authorize a contract for land acquisitions related to the proposed City of Hutto Fire Station No. 1.
Board member Mike Snyder presented the motion, which was seconded and carried on a roll-call vote recorded as Aye from David Morales, Mike Snyder, Kevin Porterfield, Donovan Gonzales, Jen Thornton and Jim Morris (motion passed 6-0). A board member noted the property approved in the contract could be considered for the fire station or, after further review, used for another purpose.
