Council appoints members to Arts & Beautification and Culture & Diversity commissions

The Huber Heights City Council on April 27 approved two citizen appointments: Nancy Ann Scott to the Arts and Beautification Commission (term through June 30, 2029) and Michelle Blair to the Culture and Diversity Citizen Action Commission (term through Dec. 31, 2028). Vice Mayor Fred Akins noted the interview panels had completed their work and recommended the appointments.
Both appointments were adopted by unanimous roll call, 7–0. Vice Mayor Fred Akins told the council the necessary background checks had been completed before the nominations were brought forward.
