Council members debate pickleball demand; staff says U.S. Tennis Association grant restricts court use

"We do have grant money from the US Tennis Association, and they don't like pickleball," staff said, noting that dual-striping or conversion would be considered in a future, city-funded project where appropriate. Members discussed piloting a smaller section for dual striping to test logistics before larger conversions.
