CDC adds Village connection and FM 407 corridor trail to CIP list; staff to provide more detail

Heather summarized new projects to be added to the facilities development CIP for future consideration: a Village connection, the FM 407 Corridor Trail and amenity station, citytrail landscaping, Bridal Hill priority trails and district connections. She told the board these items will be added to the list for future planning and possible grant-matching funds from the CDC fund balance.
Board members asked for additional detail on the scope of the Village Connection and FM 407 Corridor Trail; staff and consultants agreed to meet with board members to provide more information. Phil noted that some options could be self-funded through other sources such as DCTA trip funds or grant opportunities, which would reduce direct impact on the CDC fund balance if awarded.
