The Billings County Rural Fire Protection District board approved the March 2026 board election and re-confirmed its officers at a meeting in Medora on March 18, 2026. Dwayne Shypkoski moved to approve the election; Don Fulton seconded and "all present members were in favor."
The board voted to keep the current officer slate: President Jon Klym, Vice President Brian Buckman and Secretary Corey Simnioniw. Kasey Malkowski moved to cease nominations; Don Fulton seconded and the motion passed. The board also left the signer list unchanged (Jon Klym, Brian Buckman, Corey Simnioniw and Kasey Malkowski). The meeting adjourned after approval of the financial statement and payment of bills.
