City unveils My WestminsterMD app for service requests and resident engagement

"It is My WestminsterMD... you can make requests on the app to do everything from request bulk pickup for your trash items to submit something to the police department," the IT representative said.
Council members praised the rollout and asked about discoverability; staff said the app is listed on the city website and can be found in Google Play and the Apple App Store by searching "My WestminsterMD." Staff also recommended that council and city staff promote the app as an alternative to phone calls for routine service requests.
