The Hutto Economic Development Corporation approved a $6,000 contract for a real‑estate reporting plugin and a companion budget amendment at its June 8 meeting.
EDC staff described the platform as an interactive plugin for the EDC website with strong reporting functionality—able to present national, state, region and zip-code level data and accept custom shape files to limit queries to the city limits or ETJ. “It would be public facing,” staff said, adding the tool could provide historical and comparative data to help the EDC and the public evaluate market trends. The board voted to accept resolution RHEDC2026-28 to authorize the contract and RHEDC2026-29 to approve the budget amendment; both motions passed 5–0.
