Hutto EDC adopts strategic plan and KPI dashboard work for public view

The Hutto Economic Development Corporation voted June 8 to adopt an updated strategic plan and move to publish key performance indicators to a public dashboard. David, executive director of strategic operations, told the board he updated KPIs to reflect prior feedback and said staff’s next step—if approved—would be integration into a public KPI dashboard by the end of 2026.
The board’s motion to approve the strategic plan (resolution R HEDC-2026-615) passed on a recorded 5–0 vote. David said he had “updated several of the KPIs trying to do my best to match the board’s expectations,” and asked for any final changes before action under the companion item; none were raised that prevented approval. Staff will proceed to include the EDC plan in the planned KPI dashboard for public review and return with any follow-up items as needed.
