Commissioners set 2025 oil revenue schedule: general fund first half, roads and highway taxes later

Renville County Commissioners on Jan. 7 adopted a schedule to allocate the county's 2025 oil revenue across three funds. Commissioner Jamee Hansen moved the allocation plan and Commissioner Rick Haman seconded; the motion passed by a unanimous vote of aye.
The Board specified that oil revenue received January through June will be deposited to the General Fund, revenue from July and August will go to the Road & Bridge Fund, and receipts from September through December will be assigned to the Highway Tax Fund. The motion and vote were recorded in the minutes of the Jan. 7 meeting.
