Supervisor Stanek moved the amendment to change the cited $15,000 to $22,000; Supervisor Strudthoff seconded the amendment and it passed on a voice vote. The amended resolution was then adopted by voice vote.
Administrative staff explained the amount represents potential costs to route emergency landline calls via a third‑party vendor for up to 12 months while Phase 2 is implemented. The administration said it hopes phase 2 will be in place before 12 months elapse and that partner cost‑sharing could reduce the county’s expense.
