Administrative Coordinator Cassandra Hanan explained the grant is reimbursement‑based and that, if awarded, the county will use its Restitution Surcharge Fund to cover upfront expenses until reimbursement. The resolution also notes a required 20% local match, which the Board said will be funded with victim/witness position wages or intern/volunteer hours.
