Human Resources Director Shelly Schultz presented a Sworn Non-Union Lieutenant Employment Agreement to the Administration Committee on Jan. 15, 2026. Supervisor Theresa Willems moved to amend Section 4.3 to require holiday and personal days be used in full-day increments and to specify that for employees working a Pitman rotation a full day shall be considered 12 hours; the amendment was voted on and carried.
After the amendment passed, a motion by John Matravers, seconded by Dennis Kroll, to forward the amended agreement and accompanying resolution to the full county board was voted on and carried. The committee directed the item to be placed on the consent agenda for the county board.
