The Renville County Board of Commissioners voted Aug. 6 to amend the County's Court Services contract with Mohall City to specify that Mohall City will be responsible for costs incurred to enforce its city ordinances. Commissioner Andy Gates moved the amendment and Commissioner Jamee Hansen seconded; the motion carried by unanimous vote and the amended contract will be forwarded to Mohall City for their consideration.
The minutes record the motion and the board's vote; the amendment reallocates financial responsibility for ordinance-enforcement costs to the city rather than the county. The county auditor's office will transmit the edited contract to Mohall City as noted in the record.
