Renville County designates courthouse as November polling place, sets hours

At their Aug. 6 meeting the Renville County Board of Commissioners voted to designate the Renville County Courthouse as the polling place for the November General Election and to set Election Day hours to open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.
Commissioner Andy Gates moved to name the courthouse as the polling place and Commissioner Jamee Hansen seconded; the motion carried by a unanimous "aye." The action was recorded in the meeting minutes and will be reflected in county election notices and the auditor's office instructions to voters.
The designation formalizes where county residents should go on Election Day and establishes the hours for in-person voting at the courthouse.
