Civil Specialties, Inc. continues removing trees along the full length of N. Mayville Drain No. 8 as part of ongoing maintenance work. Engineer Nathan Trosen reported at the Feb. 17 meeting that the contractor remains on schedule for clearing operations.
Trosen also reported preliminary results from a hydraulic model intended to determine impacts of replacing wooden bridges with culverts; the initial findings indicate minimal impacts to the drainage area. The board requested additional modeling details and will review updated information at the next meeting.
