County approves private easement in Coulee Village, hires Sauber Engineering to plat right-of-way

At 9:25 A.M. the Mountrail County Board approved a private easement for a right-of-way in Coulee Village tied to State Highway 50 and authorized hiring Sauber Engineering (John Sauber) to plat the right-of-way, with the County covering the survey cost. The motion to approve the easement and hire the surveyor was moved by Commissioner John DeGroot, seconded by Commissioner Wayne Olson, and carried on a unanimous roll call.
State’s Attorney Wade Enget outlined that the right-of-way had been received from the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and recommended the county proceed with platting. The easement was recorded in the minutes as approved and the county will take the next step of engaging Sauber Engineering to prepare the plat.
