TCEDC flags state grant funds and federal health grant deadline

At the Feb. 17 meeting, Jim Murphy told the commission that the state Commerce office is releasing $4 million of previously committed Destination Development grant funds and TCEDC staff have contacted area applicants to help them resubmit their applications.
Murphy also said staff are pursuing information and contacts for the Rural Health Transformation Grant; he noted the first application deadline is March 30 and that funds can be used for provider recruitment and expanded recreational facilities such as walking tracks. Murphy said he and Deputy Director Alyssa Short will talk with the Lake Agassiz Regional Council about opportunities and application support.
