Commissioners renew $10 million CD at Bravera

Jessica Niemitalo, Mountrail County Treasurer, asked the board at 9:15 A.M. to renew a $10,000,000 Certificate of Deposit at Bravera for 12 months. The motion to renew, moved by Commissioner John DeGroot and seconded by Commissioner Jason Rice, passed on a unanimous roll call vote.
The renewal was recorded as a routine treasury action during the commissioners’ scheduled appointments. The board’s minutes note that the motion carried with Hollekim, DeGroot, Ruland, Olson and Rice voting yes. The minutes also state the county posts a complete list of financial transactions on the county website and makes records available in the Auditor’s Office.
