Council shortens reservations window for sports complex and approves Bank Avenue electrical upgrades

Council adopted Ordinance #4, 2026 implementing the scheduling and refund changes by roll call vote 5-0.
Separately, the Wise Main Street Association requested electrical upgrades to host a Food Truck Rodeo; an upgrade for the Wise Inn parking lot was estimated at approximately $20,000 while upgrades along Bank Avenue were estimated at $5,000. Council approved the Bank Avenue electrical upgrades and agreed to revisit the larger Wise Inn site after exploring additional options.
