Lunchbox276 reports expansion to neighboring localities, asks Town to consider donation

They said the program is funded entirely through donations, grants, and volunteers and reported the program now averages 1,200 bags distributed weekly and has expanded into Dickenson County and the City of Norton.
Mayor Caynor Smith asked administrative staff to coordinate completion of the Town's donation request form so Council could formally consider donating to Lunchbox276. No formal donation vote or dollar amount was decided during the Feb. 23 meeting.
