Commission appoints members to local cemetery maintenance boards

The commission discussed replacing long‑serving volunteers and presented a recommendation to appoint Richard Day to the Willard Precinct Cemetery Maintenance Board after Carla Parsons requested replacement. Commissioner S5 moved to appoint Richard Day; the motion was seconded and the commission voted to approve.
The commission also considered replacements for long‑serving members on the Grouse Creek Cemetery board. Staff (S6) recommended appointing Charles K. Kimber and Blair G. Thompson to the board; Commissioner S8 moved to appoint both and Commissioner S5 seconded. The motion passed and the commission ratified the appointments.
The appointments were recorded in the meeting minutes and staff will update board rosters accordingly.
