Commission approves updated food-vendor pricing for 2026 Box Elder County Fair

Fairgrounds Director and Fair Board President Jan Rhodes and Food Vendor Chairman Bruce Garrett presented an updated fee schedule for food vendors at the 2026 Box Elder County Fair. Rhodes said the rates had not been updated in several years; committee review produced a single set price for most food vendors while preserving different arrangements for the Farm Bureau and Lions Club booths and raising food-truck fees to reflect current costs. Rhodes said applications will go online March 1.
Commissioner Perry moved to approve the recommended pricing, Commissioner Bingham seconded, and the motion carried unanimously. The commission asked staff to implement the new fee schedule and ensure the online application process opens on schedule.
