Fire Marshal Kevin Lloyd presented the County Wildfire Protection Plan and Cooperative Agreement #26-06, a two-part package that the state has approved and that sets out participation commitments, initial-attack and extended-attack procedures, and Community Wildfire Preparedness Plan (CWPP) responsibilities under Utah Code §65A-8-203. Lloyd said the state signed off on both the plan and the agreement and recommended commission approval.
Commissioner Perry moved to approve the wildfire plan and Agreement #26-06; Commissioner Bingham seconded and the motion passed unanimously on roll call. The packet appended the full cooperative-agreement language and the county CWPP, which details fuel-reduction projects, training commitments, and proposed mitigation projects across several county focus areas.
