Board adds contract extensions and MDOT agreement to consent agenda

At the start of the June 23 meeting, the chair announced additions to the agenda and said the following substitutes would be added to the consent agenda without objection: a three-year contract extension with Velocities 1 and Fire Safety Services LLC to provide fire alarm and suppression services at multiple county buildings; a contract extension with BK Teach Out Investigations Inc., doing business as Teach Out Security Solutions; a second-party agreement with the Michigan Department of Transportation for a federally funded project on Aurelius Road and Wilcox Road to Cedar Street; and an agreement with Hedrick Associates.
The chair declared the substitutes adopted without objection and the consent agenda, as moved by Commissioner Mayville with one item held out (item 17), passed during the clerk's roll call.
