At its June 23 meeting the Ingham County Board of Commissioners approved a broad consent agenda that included software and hardware purchases for county IT, multiple service contract extensions and facility maintenance agreements across county properties.
Key approvals included: an additional phone-management software module from CDWG ($14,250), replacement uninterruptible power supplies from CDWG ($78,650), Sentinel Technologies support hours for phone redundancy ($6,600), a two‑year extension with Elevator Service, Inc. (not to exceed $111,717.36), a three‑year extension with VelocityEHS for Safety Data Sheet maintenance (not to exceed $31,206.60), and a two‑year extension with Boynton Fire Safety Services with added sites (not to exceed $53,150). The consent agenda also included contract extensions for security staffing and other routine facilities services. These items were listed in the agenda and approved by unanimous roll call as part of the consent package.
Board members framed the vote as routine operations and efficiency measures intended to maintain continuity of services at multiple county locations. The Board’s adoption of the consent agenda allowed these purchases and contract extensions to proceed under the budgeted accounts identified in each resolution.
