The Manistee County Blacker Airport Authority unanimously elected its officers for 2026 at a regular meeting on Jan. 12, 2026. Jeff Dontz moved and Cynthia Kaminski seconded to “nominate Mr. Dyllan Walker as Chairperson, close nominations and cast a unanimous ballot,” and the motion carried with six yeas and one member absent; Goodman joined the meeting shortly after the vote.
The board also selected George Becker as vice-chair and Susan Zielinski as treasurer by unanimous ballots. Preston Picardat was nominated and confirmed as secretary after Karen Goodman arrived; the board then appointed Lindsey Marquardt as the Authority’s recording secretary for 2026. Each motion was recorded with a roll-call vote; the minutes list the yeas for the votes and note that no nays were cast.
