At its Feb. 4 meeting, the Mason Consolidated Schools Board approved a consent agenda that included minutes approvals, the January check register, authorizations for staff to attend state conferences and approval for students to attend the Michigan Youth in Government Conference, and recorded several donations.
The minutes list donations as: $1,060 from Chuck Hatch to the HS Youth in Government group; $530 from Erie VFW for HS YIG sponsorship; an anonymous $500 gift to the Mason Music Booster; and an anonymous $500 gift to Keeney Field maintenance. Travel and conference approvals included Kelli Tuller and several athletic administrators and staff to attend conferences in Traverse City and Grand Rapids, and permission for 16 people (three staff and 14 students) to attend the Michigan Youth in Government Conference in Lansing, Feb. 26–March 1, 2026.
The consent agenda passed on a motion by Waller, supported by Fowler (motion carried 6-0).
