The Mason Consolidated Schools Board of Education approved a revised agenda at its Jan. 6, 2026 special call meeting. England moved to approve the revised agenda, Nehrig supported the motion, and the board voted 6-0 to adopt the agenda. The board then moved to enter closed session under Section 8(1)(h) "to consider material exempt from discussion or disclosure by state or federal statute." The motion to enter closed session was made by England, supported by Nehrig, and carried on roll call.
The minutes record the board entering closed session at 6:06 p.m. and exiting at 7:14 p.m. No members of the public were present for the public comment period. At 7:17 p.m., Waller moved and Fowler supported adjournment; the motion carried 6-0. The minutes were signed by Board Secretary John Waller.
