The Board of Selectmen voted unanimously July 27 to accept title to Windsor Drive and to release the developer bond after the town engineer inspected and signed off on corrections.
Kim Kleiner told the board that the planning board had approved the bond release and acceptance, the town engineer had inspected and verified pavement corrections, and the deed to convey the road to the town had been submitted. “He has signed off on the road,” staff said during the hearing.
After brief deliberations about the age of the original road and the extension work (the extension was recorded around 2004), a motion to accept Windsor Drive and release the bond was made and carried 5–0. The acceptance covers the original road and the subsequent cul‑de‑sac extension; staff said it will close the project and finalize the paperwork with the registry.
