On Feb. 20 the Cleveland County Board opened bids and postponed awards for multiple procurement items. Purchasing Agent Keri Lyles publicly opened bids for Bid #SHE-2132 (one-year non-encumbered contract for sheriff deputy uniforms, Mar. 1, 2025–Feb. 28, 2026). Bidders named in the minutes included DANA Safety and Top Tier Tactical Supply; the board accepted the bids and instructed Purchasing to tabulate and qualify bidders before returning with a recommendation.
The board also opened bids for Bid #COM2-2133 to purchase a used 3,500-gallon oil distributor mounted on a truck chassis. The minutes list a Freightliner 108SD (2014) bid from G.W. Van Keppel with a bid price of $175,000. The board postponed awarding the purchase and directed Purchasing to complete bidder evaluation and provide a report to the board for a later decision.
