Commissioner Jason Shanks told the board Allied Elevator Services had already completed the courthouse elevator drive replacement and brought a proposal before the board for signatures. District Attorney Brian Hermanson said his only concern with the proposal was a finance charge provision that could subject the County to penalties; Shanks stated he would strike the finance-charge language.
The board approved the proposal from Allied Elevator Services with the finance-charge provision removed. DA Hermanson approved the proposal "as to form." Minutes record the final cost was less than the original estimate, but the minutes do not list the finalized dollar amount in the agenda text.
